Description

The lyrics appear line by line at the bottom of the screen next to your score, while your tonal accuracy is represented by a line that will fill with colour if you hit the note perfectly. There is Duet mode where you can plug in multiple microphones and take turns singing different parts of the song. Then there is Expert mode where there are no lyrics or tonal markers; at this point you must truly sing the song by heart. In my experience of dancing games, and this is no exception, I find it difficult to match up my moves with what’s happening on screen so I end up doing moves that are a cross between an electric shock and a breakdown. There is no way that you will get 120,000 points on a song, or survive a song in Elimination mode without being able to sing that song near-perfectly.

But a lack of content, and a limited variety of song types with the on-disc setlist (and no confirmation on any future DLC) as well as no real innovation in the genre of the game limits it from being much more else than a short burst of fun from time to time with some friends. In the edit page, go to the 'Metadata' tab and add your Juno artist, label or release page for listeners to purchase your release / releases. There’s also very little to enjoy, nay nothing, if you don’t enjoy music that’s been made in the past eighteen months and, of course, you’ll get more out of the game if you invite your friends around for a go and make an evening of it with some drinks and perhaps some other party games. At the end of the song, you're awarded VoxPoints depending on how well you performed and these points can be used to unlock game modes on each song. These companies need to realize that not everyone owns or wants a cell phone, and let alone they need to give the option of using a regular controller. Solo is naturally the one-player mode and Warm-Up gives you a simple dance routine to get you already to go.

You also have a star rating up the side, a number score and bubbles telling you how good your moves were from hot to nice, good to OK. If you are feeling even more competitive, in the ‘Elimination’ mode each player starts with a full bar of energy which depletes with every bum note. As you progress through the song, the lyrics appear on screen along with white bars which vary in height and length, corresponding to the pitch of the note you need to hit and how long you have to sustain it for. Lyrics come up on the screen in front of the official music video – all thirty tracks on this game come with said promo clip – with each word also expressed as a bar reflecting the length of the note and the pitch. Turn up the volume, grab a mic and get the party started with a variety of unique game modes, “Classic”, “Duet”, “By Heart” and “Pass The Mic”.

You are scored on the song by how well you hit the pitch and hold the notes, with a numeric and up-to-five-stars score. Playing these modes and racking up points will enable you to unlock others (or you can spend your VoxPoints). This complete edition comes with all the features you need including multiplayer and online playability. comes with a good collection of 30 recent hits including Uptown Funk, Moves Like Jagger and All About That Bass. It should be noted that Dance and Sing doesn’t come with microphones so a purchase of some USB microphones is necessary if you don’t already own them).
