So I’ve been struggling with dark eye circles due to lack of sleep and noticed it getting puffier with protruding lines. Sorbitol, Pentylene Glycol, Glycerin, PEG-20 Methyl Glucose Sesquistearate, PVP, Silica, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer, Phenoxyethanol, Pullulan, Ethylhexylglycerin, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil , Orbignya Oleifera Seed Oil, Xanthan Gum, Hydrolyzed Manihot Esculenta Tuber Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Pca, Urea, Synthetic Fluorphlogopite, Disodium EDTA, Adenosine, Trehalose, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Niacinamide, Polyquaternium-51, T-Butyl Alcohol, Fraxinus Excelsior Bark Extract, Leontopodium Alpinum Meristem Cell Culture, Glycolic Acid, Silanetriol, Potassium Citrate, Tin Oxide, Tocopherol, Citric Acid, CI 77891. It's the most lightweight product in the range, and the least emollient, so if you do use multiple items from the range, this should go on first. Again, I spotted Glycolic Acid, an AHA that could in theory help to exfoilate skin, but, given the small amounts it seems to be present in, and given that the pH of the product is about 6-6.

You probably know olive oil from the kitchen as a great and healthy option for salad dressing but it's also a great and healthy option to moisturize and nourish the skin, especially if it's on the dry side. Even without keeping it in the fridge, I find that the product remains cool so that on application it feels hydrating and calms any possible puffiness. The film formers and polymers sit nicely on the skin to improve appearance, while silica can help to diffuse the light around the eye area, and help to give a slight optical illusion that the eye around the skin looks smoother. The range is a brilliant choice for skincare addicts after protection from environmental damage and bouncy, hydrated skin without the spend demanded by luxury products. After using this product religiously morning and night for a couple of weeks, I really do think it’s making a difference to my under eye area, it really helps to smooth my skin first thing in the morning before I apply my make-up and is a lovely cooling treat on my extra tired eyes last thing at night.

I tried a different brand, shifted to Olay's 7 In One anti-aging serum and recently, this Youth Concentrate. With its pipette applicator, slightly gloopy texture and excellent slip across the skin (a tiny drop goes a long way), it has the application experience of a far more expensive serum. We love it for a mid-afternoon refresh, when our skin is starting to feel dry, though we find the spritz a little too heavy to apply directly to the face, and so prefer to spray it into our hands first. The two main use cases for Synthetic Fluorphlogopite is being used neat as a superior "filler" or skin tone enhancer or it can also serve as a base for multi-layered, composite pigments such as pearl effect pigments where it is coated with one or more layers of metal oxide, most commonly titanium dioxide.

Tap in the remaining product and (since this is a treatment and not a stand alone product), follow with a moisturizer.

It is actually the first metal applicator I have found so far that really works well in distributing the product instead of creating a big mess. I smile at people passing me by in the streets, I smile at my co-workers and I strongly believe in handling upcoming problems calm and friendly. Another highlight from the range, this has a rolling metal ball applicator and a light, gel-like texture that is more like a serum than a traditional eye cream. Btw, Xanthan gum is all natural, a chain of sugar molecules (polysaccharide) produced from individual sugar molecules ( glucose and sucrose) via fermentation.

Because of the lightweight texture of the product, this might not be suitable for people who have dry undereye areas, or who prefer thicker, more occlusive eye creams. The rest of the products include more humectants (Caprylyl Glycol), emollients (Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Myristyl Alcohol), emulsifiers (Glyceryl Stearate, PEG-100 Stearate), and things like pH adjusters (Sodium Hydroxide, Citric Acid), citrus fragrance ingredients (Linalool, Citronellol, Limonene), thickeners (Xanthum Gum), and so on. The main ingredients consist of water, emollients (Dimethicone, Hydrogenated Polyisobutene), humectants (Glycerin), Alcohol, a couple of polymers and fibers (Nylon-66, Ammonium Acryloyldimethyltaurate/VP Copolymer), and then we reach the main preservative, Phenoxyethanol. The cooling metal roller-ball applicator is also a pump making this hands-free eye treat a perfect traveling companion. So, in addition to just being an eye serum, this also is great as a quick fix" where you want your eye to look good right now - say, if you have an event to go to at night and want a quick fix to improve the appearance of your eye area.
